updates regarding covid-19

With the continuous changes surrounding COVID-19 within Ontario, we have been in constant communication and completely transparent with all studio directors and all information has been sent over regarding the scheduled events for the 2020 dance season. It is with a very heavy heart that we have had to postpone our 2020 season to 2021. We are speaking to each and every studio individually through phone meetings, held every business day. We will be in contact with the studio directors only during this time. We completely understand the stress and worry each of you are experiencing surrounding refunds and credits, we just ask that you please be patient with us as we continue to speak to every single director scheduled for the 2020 season.

A letter was sent to all studio directors, on June 3, 2020 please see below for the highlights of said correspondence.

In response to Ontario's recent Emergency Order and the mandatory closure of non-essential businesses, Bedazzled Dance Champions has made the heartbreaking decision to reschedule our 2020 events to 2021. Bedazzled Dance Champions has arrived at this decision after great consideration for the safety of all the dancers and teachers involved. 

 

As you are aware, Bedazzled operates numerous successful dance competitions each year. Our success is a result of our commitment to creating an unmatched environment wherein each attendee feels excited, supported and welcome. In order to consistently create the successful Bedazzled environment each year, many behind the scenes operations are executed in advance. In preparation for competitions Bedazzled staff books venues, orders trophies, prepares schedules, organizes printing of programs, banners, etc. Many of these expenditures are not recoverable.

However, we understand that some students will be graduating this year. In the event you fall within this category, a refund will be provided.

​

To provide prompt and thorough responses, Bedazzled Dance Champions will only be responsive to studio directors at this time. 

​

We cannot thank you enough for your continued support for our dance competitions year after year. Our ultimate goal remains the same, to have a dance competition wherein the dancers get a stage to showcase their hard work.
